PRODUCTION

The manufacture facilities has its own state-of-the-art machine parks, transport facilities, logistics department and warehouses. Utilising the latest technology enables the materials used in the manufacture of the furniture to be processed and finished in many different ways.

In our manufacturing process, we make use of every technology currently available in the furniture industry. Our products and their components are given their characteristic look and feel by applying the following surface finishes:

  • Finish foil
  • PVC foil
  • Veneer
  • Laminate
  • Varnish

One of the main advantages of our furniture is our use of honeycomb boards (which allows the manufacturing of thick components while maintaining their light weight) and the unique Complete-Line technology, which permits the foil to imperceptibly cross from the surface area to the edge (seamless lamination). Complete-Line also allows for the visual enlargement or reduction of the furniture edge.

PLANNING AND LOGISTICS

The central planning system deployed  to provides for the optimal utilisation of the production capacity at our disposal as part of the Group in Poland, Ukraine and Belarus. The planning cycle has been adjusted to meet the requirements of our Business Partners, so that we can quickly and efficiently respond to their individual needs and to the seasonal nature of their business operations.

There  is over 10 logistics centres spanning a total area of nearly 160,000 square metres, and our Pruszcz Gdański warehouse is close to major sea ports (20 km from Gdańsk and 40 km from Gdynia). We can provide comprehensive logistics services, starting with designing packaging and transport carriers (pallets of various kinds), through to labelling, palletizing, and compiling orders, right up to determining optimal pick-up plans and the professional loading of goods.

We pride ourselves on our flexibility with regard to the loading and receipt of goods. We offer highly competitive lead times. A finished product is loaded onto a truck within 48 hours of being received in the warehouse.

QUALITY CONTROL

The highest quality of our products is our priority. Black Red White implements a process approach to quality control, starting from prototype control, through “0” series control, ending the implementation process with the first production series control, finishing with quality analysis and recording of quality information.

The key stages of the  quality control process are as follows:
1. Prototype control and verification of technical parameters

Components are made according to blueprints and specifications, and then measured and assembled in order to prepare a prototype control report. The material durability of e.g. hinges and guides is determined by durability testing (pneumatic tester), hanging shelves by loading, etc.

2. The 0-series production control

The first production series is inspected and compared with the blueprints and specifications, and the furniture is measured and assembled in order to prepare a 0-series production report, all this information is a basis for quality analyses.

3. Ongoing monitoring process and quality analyses

Ongoing monitoring and inspections as per standardised forms are an integral foundation of the Quality Control Department. The details of the tested products are recorded in dedicated software in order to build a contractor-specific data base. At the same time, all this information is a basis for quality analyses.

We can ensure top product quality as we use machinery supplied by industry leaders. Our production relies on machines from leading furniture industry suppliers, viz. Homag, IMA, Biesse and SCM. These consist in extensive technological lines aimed at serial production, and they enable us to produce identical results and high quality.

We also collaborate with renowned suppliers of materials. Our main suppliers are Kronospan, Pfleiderer, Schattdecor, Surteco, Impress Surfaces, Hettich, Blum, Samet, SAZ, Hȁfele, SIRO, Schwinn, Rehau, Furnika, VITA Polymers Poland, Malborskie Zakłady Chemiczne “Organika”, S.I.C, DAVIS, Egger, Renolit, Schilsner.
